Effective Marketing For A Beautiful Home
TIME was of the essence for this young couple!
Nitin & Shirley first met The Property Runway through our video for a lovely house in Pasir Panjang. They were shopping in the area and liked the way we presented the house in photos and videos. They started getting worried when they bought a house and started comparing what their current agent had done – she had photos taken by handphone and had no viewings for the first weekend.
So Shirley contacted us through Facebook. They had 6 months to sell their property to avoid having to pay Additional Buyer’s Stamp Duty for a ‘second’ property if the first was still unsold.
Their house was such a lovely colonial styled home, tastefully done and lovingly maintained – Photos simply will NOT do it sufficient justice!
Although it was on a low floor, the owners had made the entire Executive Maisonette very functional. The house also overlooked a park, so the view was truly greenery at its finest. What’s more, the house had a RARE vaulted ceiling, seldom seen in a HDB. It felt like we walked into a landed property!

Seeing their tight deadline and the amount of heart they placed into making this house a home, we evaluated the potential buyers and also the Unique Selling Points of the Property.
The target market is likely to be the young in their 30s and 40s, who need to upgrade from their current home – which means they most likely need time to sell their current place. So we curated a video to paint vividly the picture of a home within this house, showing off angles that cannot be seen in photographs.
The first weekend, we had 8 groups of buyers, and 1 of these buyers returned 3 months later after selling his house, DETERMINED to buy this property.
This story ends well with our clients moving out to their new home, without any worries of a heavy tax.
